Stylized Cakes

The cakes are finally done! This is a personal project where I wanted to improve my stylized work and decided that I wanted to do something colorful and with a handpainted look! That is when I found an amazing illustration that caught my eye by Lina Tykwa!

A challenge that I faced was trying to create a material that would give the look and feeling of a dense jelly. This is when I delved into creating a custom shader for it. At first it was difficult but at the same time fun to challenge myself with.
I'm very happy and grateful to my friends and classmates for all the feedback and tips they gave me throughout the process.

All the textures I made for the cakes and table. I packed the roughness, AO and Metallic into one texture. For my leaf I only used a basecolor with alpha.
